Her silver silks shining in glee

dancing with the wind

gracefully

wrinkled sheets of her skin

worn out by million years

of sacrifices she made

for a child she raised

not only inside a home

without a father

but in her heart

which never give in

amidst all trials and fear

of what tomorrow

can offer.

She's a mother

who would never succumb

over thousand misjudgements

from being a single parent

a woman of strength

relying in her very own sole

while carrying the heavy cross

upon her stiff shoulder

her age is getting low

but her bag of love

keeps getting full

as times goes by

her sight maybe

fastly fading

but her vision of motherhood

is still crystal clear.

The child

she is raising

for years

is a lucky seed

lying in her chest

nourished by

her healthy breast

nurtured by

a kind heart

cultivated by

a benevolent soul

a growing seed

to be protected

and cared.
